WORST QUALITY SOFAS WE HAVE EVER HAD, DO NOT BUY! We had our last set from the highstreet for 13+ years and they were gorgeous the day we sold them, just wanted a change. However, we have had Lucas sofas for just over a year and we have regretfully decided to sell them, despite the heavy monetary loss, it's better than us all avoiding the family room because no one wants to sit on them. We visited Lucas wanting to get something different. With their lovely shop in Aylesbury, we thought the quality would match, one year later, we are selling the sofas before they are even fully paid off. Waited months and months for the sofas to arrive. When they finally did we had trouble fitting them into the living room. Lucas were kind enough to let us swap them with others we liked in the shop, Brand ‘Collins & Hayes’. Again we waited months, but we were happy to as we were assured the lead time was due to each sofa being made to order and time was being put into the quality. You can only imagine our disappointment that despite the money and time, these sofas are not a fraction of the quality the highstreet brands are, they do not have the longevity and are at least 3x the price. From the first sit, they were uncomfortable but this has increased with time, you can see the indent on all the sofa cushions and the springs are already showing wear and tear. The 'kindness' LUCAS showed by allowing us to swap the sofa choices means that we are somehow still paying for the sofa's we received and the sofa's we returned to cover the difference. Collins and Hayes is poorer quality and based in England so I don't see why it is more expensive. £4k credit for a horrible purchase, do not get conned by the aesthetically pleasing brand, their furniture is good to look at but not functional.

A huge new shop devoted to sofas and accompanying items. Easy to access with plenty of parking on the west side of Aylesbury. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. There is a whole range, from low-backed modern for young people to high-backed supportive for older folk. Cheap to super expensive bespoke Scandinavian. Other stores just have the same generic Chinese sofas in every shop. None of that here, only the good stuff.

Having previously shopped at the Rabans Lane store many years ago, where I had a great experience with staff and the aftercare, i was disappointed with the lack of interaction and zero welcome at the new store. I saw many staff walking around, many appearing available, 2 particular male workers who were deep in conversation walking around for the entirety of our our 1 hour visit, my husband and I felt invisible quite literally. I will not be returning, even though we had found furniture for two bedrooms we wanted. I’d rather take the business elsewhere. Pointless having a fancy showroom, with stuck up staff if they’re not showing a willingness to do business.

I recently came in and had a number of questions as we are thinking of and enquiring about buying some sofas for our daughter. We met one of your employees, Beverley Edgell, think her name was. She was absolutely brilliant, she went out of her way to help us, friendly, polite, professional, but above all, so very nice and pleasant to deal with. Buying and looking at furniture is not one of those things I look forward to, but Beverley made it a pleasurable experience. Thank you so much Beverley.

We bought a 3 piece suite from Lucas the service was great and customer service was good my concern is how it was made 3 of the legs could not be fully fitted on the day of delivery one due to the fact that the bolts would not screw into the socket’s problem with the threads. The other two legs the holes in the legs did not line up with the socket in the base. One leg had to be screwed to the base the other two was a mixture of bolts and screws to hold it in place. The settees look great and are very comfortable the worry is how well have they been made
